What we collect
- Account info: email address and password (hashed).
- Profile info: display name, age, gender, orientation, pronouns, photos, bio, city, interests, access needs, and other fields you choose to fill in.
- Activity: swipes, matches, messages, blocks, reports.
- Payments: subscription status and Stripe customer ID. We do not store your full card details — Stripe does.
- Technical: device type, basic logs, and error reports for debugging.
How we use it
- To show you potential matches and let you chat with them.
- To enforce community standards and respond to reports.
- To process subscription payments.
- To improve the service and fix bugs.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads.
Who can see your profile
Other signed-in Crip users can see your profile when they are shown to you in the discover feed. Your email address and exact location are never shown. Photos are served via short-lived signed URLs.
Who we share data with
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase — hosting and database.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
- Law enforcement — only when required by valid legal process.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Edit or update your profile from Your profile.
- Delete your account from Your profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages.
- Request a copy of your data by emailing us.
- Block or report any other user from their profile card.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos, and messages immediately. Some records (e.g. payment history, abuse reports) may be retained as required by law or to enforce our terms.
Children
Crip is strictly for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
